Now Every Girl Can Be a Pole Dancer

stripper pole When I heard about this I thought it was a joke, but sadly, I was mistaken.

With fans like Carmen Electra, Kylie Minogue, the Spice Girls and Pussycat Dolls, The Peekaboo Pole Dancing Kit is a stripper pole that you can put in your home and practice how to be a real, live stripper! You know, before your 18th birthday when you can legally go give men their jollies and this way, you will already be experienced!

With their booklet of dance moves, a garter and 100 peekaboo dance dollars to reenact the real thing, this stripper pole, they claim, is a sure fire way to spice things up the bedroom or what I found a little strange…to liven up a friend’s party. I’m sorry, but who wants to go to a party where everyone gets together and dance on a stripper pole?

Now what I find truly amazing is that the makers of the Peekaboo Pole Dancing Kit recently announced that they are seeking a partner to help license their concept to Nintendo and making their pole dancing kit, which cannot support your full body weight and looks incredibly dangerous, as a game for the Wii.

  • If my husband brought home a pole, my reaction would be, you first. This phenomenon just asserts the idea that womens bodies are for display for male sexual pleasure. Thanks but no thanks.

Well...the website says it's not intended for children. So far, I don't see anything about this product that would indicate that it's intended for teenage girls as opposed to young adults.
  • I would love to have a pole for my husband and I, but that's it... not for parties? I mean, seriously. As public as we would go with that were to make a video, if you know what I mean!!!

And a game for the Wii? My Wii is my right hand man, but I doubt I would take a game like that seriously. Kinda like Wii Fit, I want the balance board for the snowboarding games, etc, but I would never do yoga on it.

replying to your comment: if you miss Rent this year, two original cast members are going on tour with it next year as well, which I will go see again :) The live show is soooo much different than the movie. My husband liked it better, but I must say I'm a little more partial to the movie.
  • HAHAH that's insane. what will they think of next.
  • Oh my, while I'm sure my husband may enjoy this, I doubt anyone else would want to see a fatty dancing around a pole that probably isn't strong enough to handle my moves;)
  • Oh boy, this really got me cracking! But then again, on hindsight, I've got to agree with Renee, what are women treated as? Meatballs?

But then, I certainly don't mind the idea of a couple doing the dance together. That'll be fun. Hehe.

    Sincerely,
    E.C.

I know, sad right? This reminds me of a swinger party I attended years ago where the theme was the "Pimps and Hos Ball." Middle-class housewives and husbands all came out to play dress up and toss monopoly money at one another, fulfilling their dark and naughty fantasies of being prostitutes, sluts and strippers with pimps and managers in tow. How did they treat me, as an authentic version of what they attempted to imitate? Like a frickin' mutant! lol Man they hated me. You would never guess it but if you want to find self-righteous stripper and prostitute-despising people, hang out in a Midwestern swingers club. But watch them drop it like it's hot when the Ball rolls around every spring! lol

Carmen Elektra also has some pole-dancing videos out on the market. Some towns are even offering private pole-dancing lessons which are very pricey and popular among housewives. It's a strange phenomenon if you ask me.
  • That is incredibly outstanding. It makes an excellent prank gift similar to those lottery tickets you can buy and spread around to pull pranks on people. hahaha

  • It my town there are groups that get together and have pole dance parties. They all bring their own poles in a briefcase. Its becoming a fitness craze.
  • Dancing is fun and sexy!
  • They can't be serious about this thing?=) Imagine anything simillar comming to the wii. Maybe "lose weight with wii poledancing kit"..
  • any girl can be a pole dancer. all it takes is practice.
  • Ya, that would be funny if they made one for the Wii, haha. Funny video foresure
