He Will Hit You Again

One day after Chris Brown appeared in front of a judge because of beating up his girlfriend Rihanna, Oprah sent out a very clear message to Rihanna on her live show–”If a man hits you once, he will hit you again.”

Statistically, 1 in 4 women and also 1 in 4 girls will be a victim of domestic violence and it is because of that horrifying statistic that Oprah will be dedicating an episode of her show to the topic of domestic violence.

I so respect women who are not afraid to speak their minds.

No question that Oprah is right about Chris Brown.
    Great video!

Until and unless you stand for yourself and fight, no one can protect you. Women need to speak for themselves. There are so many oppressed women in India that are victims of domestic violence.

The whole thing with those two is crazy. I've been hearing about it so much and all the people who are talking about it say she got what she deserved. I don't think so, and I don't know anything about it but it's getting old.

Why was Oprah getting up in other people's business on-air? Anyone else have a problem with that? Care to discuss domestic violence, cool, go ahead, but did she have to bring that girl Rihanna up in it? I didn't watch the show (and never do) but have heard enough to where it sounds like Oprah was out of line there. Even if my (hypothetical) man were completely in the wrong, I wouldn't want a talk show host blabbing about it. That would be my business to handle. Here we have this story plastered all over the news and magazines, diving all up into a couple's personal relationship matters. Very rude, IMO. If Rihanna wants to talk about it, that'll be her business.

Makes me very thankful to not be a celebrity…

I think Oprah herself was a victim of abuse when she was younger. Well Rihanna, take it from someone who knows.

What does guys get from beating women up anyway? It sure doesn't make them macho. If you want to be called macho, go beat a guy of your same size.
