Identity Theft Can Happen, Make Sure it Doesn’t
Identity theft can happen to anyone; in fact, it happens to countless people each and every year. It becomes increasingly hard to protect yourself as you go into business, especially if you’re an entrepreneur and lack the corporation backing to look out for your name and make sure that your personal records and numbers go to the right people. Little do people know that there is a way to protect yourself from identity theft ever happening.
As soon as you start caring for your own assets, you are repeatedly told that your social security number is all it takes to steal your identity and that is very true. However, there is a man, Todd Davis, who has given his social security number to virtually anyone who wants it–He advertises it on his website and he has also given it out during press opportunities to be broadcasted on television. His social security number is so easy to find that within seconds of viewing his website, I can give it to anyone I want, and here it is:
457-55-5462
You now have all of the information needed to steal his identity; but he isn’t worried. In fact, the reason that he gives his information to anyone he can is because he knows he’s protected. By using his own information, he is proving that his company, LifeLock is protecting him so well that he can give this to anyone he wants, but no one will ever be able to steal his identity.
LifeLock is a company that protects people. It goes through a list to make sure that your identity is never stolen; and if it is stolen while you are a member of LifeLock you have up to one million dollars in coverage to protect your name and take the necessary precautions to make sure that your information never falls into the wrong hands again.
I know a lot of people who would have loved to hear about this company before their identities were stolen. In fact, I wish I had heard of this company sooner before my credit score got ridiculously messed up, along with my name, during an altercation with identity theft that I had a few years ago that I still have not been able to rectify.
If you want to make sure that your good name is protected, especially if you are going into business for yourself, since that is the worst time to have your identity stolen, definitely check out LifeLock.
