John McCain & Sarah Palin: Dangerously Out of Touch

I’m pretty shocked that Sarah Palin had the nerve to bring up “women’s rights” and “equal rights” in the debate last night and so I present you with what Sarah Palin really thinks about women’s rights.

  1. The problem with Sarah is she gives sound bites that she thinks people want to hear
We have evolved into a more intelligent society than that and we look at history and consistency as well

  2. Thanks for sharing the video ! !

Sarah Palin is a token, a puppet and nothing more. She made me gag more than once, watching the debate. Her schtick of “Joe 6-Pack” and “soccer mom” bullsh*t was too much for me. She thinks she pulled one over by not answering the questions asked of her, but hopefully people saw through that.

I love watching Katie Couric roast her.

Ooh! I know, didn't that piss you off so bad? Hrm, women's rights… that's interesting, Sarah. Rights like… not having to pay for evidence collection after being raped? Oh wait. Huh. Or… how about this one: the right to safe reproductive services? No. Well damn. How about the right to wear any of Clinique's wide range of beautiful lipsticks and glosses that one happens to choose? There we go.

Yes, it pissed me off and so does just about everything about her. Like she knows what it's like feeding your kids raman noodles five days in a row until payday and you can treat them to the $1 double cheesburgers at Mickey D's. Like she even has a clue about what comes out of her mouth or what it means. She's just a parrot, and she does NOT represent me. She's not even in the same universe, you betcha. (Add level of sarcasm according to your tolerance level.) GAH.

The incumbent governor of Ohio, Ted Strickland, is currently trying to get popular support for House Bill 545. This bill, passed unethically, without the voice of the people, would effectively cap the interest rate of no fax payday loans in Ohio to 36%. That would basically mean that any interest would only amount to a few dollars and change for any amount of money taken out, and effectively, kill the industry, and deprive citizens of the state of Ohio of this resource. Obama wants to do one better, and install this cap at the national level. What this means is that not only would the American public be deprived of an alternative to bank loans, credit cards, overdraft, or even worse, loan sharks, it would also eliminate multiple thousands of jobs in the US, put even more people out of work. Make sure to have your voice heard on this issue, whatever your particular opinion may be. Vote!

American people have spoken clearly. The winner was declared and the other candidate publicly concedes defeat. Questions still remained. With all the issues and economic crisis that the United States is going through right now.Would the president-elect Barack Obama make it or not?
Election Day is finally over, and we now know who our next President of United States will be. Hopefully, America has made wise decisions. I hope the American people really thought about the issues in play before casting their vote on November 4th. It’s sad that the reality of how much people think about their political choices is less than studied. Some of us put more thought into whether to take out a payday advance than what the issues are. Listen to this brief audio snippet for instance. It‘s a recent episode of “The Howard Stern Show,” posted courtesy of BPM Deejays of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Roving Reporter Sal roamed the streets of Harlem, New York to get the opinions of men and women, to see whether they supported Barack Obama or John McCain for President. In actual fact, this was to determine whether African-Americans would automatically vote for Barack Obama simply because he’s black. Sal reverses the candidates’ positions on issues like the pro-life argument, stem cell research, the war in Iraq and who Sarah Palin is. Shockingly, many of the responces were brainless. Sal gets people to admit that they support Obama despite what policies he represented. This discussion has exposed something truly depressing. The truth is that many people are uninformed as to the issues. Many people try to play a part of popular opinions. I just hope that during the elections, you really thought about it.
