Laundry, the Woman’s Drug of Choice

Notice how there are never men in any commercials or advertisements for laundry; or in that case any household chores? Well that’s because women love doing household chores, but our favorite is most definitely laundry! It’s the woman’s drug of choice; we just can’t help ourselves!

Maybe it's different for you in America but in the UK there are definetly quite a few washing adverts that contain men. Some even contain both sexes. However, the men are never really protrayed as “dads” but as men who just clean “hard grime” off of kitchen counters (because we all know you have to be OH SO MACHO to scrub a kitchen worksurface). While the one's starring woman tend to be quite cute and gentle and the woman do appear to have children.

    What?? But… I don't do my own laundry (except for my undies)… and I don't think it's addicting. :D

  8. Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
