Back from Pittsburgh!

Well okay, I got home last night, but the few hours I was awake before sleeping in my own bed after four days were spent playing video games.

Me and the boyfriend took the six hour road trip to see a friend’s band, Sunday Morning, a No Doubt tribute band, not really knowing what we were going to do for the rest of the time we were there. Unlike the last time I was out of town, we brought my entire computer tower, monitor, keyboard, mouse, the whole deal and I was able to win this snazzy laptop from Heavy As Hell, so the next time I leave town I don’t have to bring my entire office with me.

The last night we were in Pittsburgh was great and hands down the best part of the weekend. If you have never watched a Pittsburgh Steelers football game at a sports bar in Pittsburgh, you’re missing out on the hysteria. I swear, it’s like watching a bunch of Mormons get together to abolish even more rights from people who don’t think, act and look like them; it is downright crazy! Mix that kind of fun with awesome wings and copious amounts of alcohol and you’ve got yourself one damn good time.

So all in all, my weekend in Pittsburgh was a relaxing getaway that I enjoyed immensely! Here are some pictures of me and the boyfriend at the Hard Rock Cafe:

Here is a video of Sunday Morning doing ‘Hey Baby’ by No Doubt:

And here is a hilarious little clip of the boyfriend telling a hilarious story about how he pissed himself while driving home. These are the kind of stories you obviously don’t think twice about telling when you’re drunk:

  • I was at your house for four days and hardly heard Allen say a single word. I'm amazed that he can actually tell a story.
