Target Women: You’re Old

Sarah Haskins turned 30 earlier this month, August 3 to be exact, and in celebration of her officially being “old,” she did a special Target Women on what it’s like to be a woman who is old and all of those special little problems that arise as soon as you turn old. Like feeling like a water balloon that’s about to pop and spill very unladylike fluid everywhere or suddenly being made of pipe.

  • Belief is everything. If you believe that youth is only for those that are young then this will inevitably be your reality. The fact is our society is so concerned about material appearance, they forget that life is a challenge, something to be embraced every day. In the words of baz lerman."The Race is long and in the end, it is only with youself".

  • Getting older in age and in looks is not a problem. You must have too many learning experiences about life...learning new thing everyday is my motto and I never think about my age..

    She is not old because this is not now 30 years, so she is young girl. personal shopping business targeted at people over 30 (have to have..., etc.) and for women :). Good business idea?
  • There is nothing wrong of being 30, yes the fear of mid-life crisis and stress of The Number, but women should not be worried. I know many women that are actually proud to be 30, as if were a major milestone in their life. Old to me is actually 50 plus in my opinion. At that age, some can feel old by experiencing a lot during their life.
  • Once I heard that a woman can determine its own year. Everything is depending on her mood. I will always be young, beautiful and positive, because it's my style.
  • Ha ha! I turn 31 in three weeks. Eeek! How on earth did that happen? I feel pretty old, even though I know I'm not. I started feeling old at 23, but mostly because I hadn't accomplished as much by that age as I had planned. I *still* haven't accomplished as much as I had planned, but I'm feeling a bit better and more comfortable with age. Perhaps by the time I'm 40, I'll feel normal.

    I think if a woman believes in herself then she can never feel old at any point of time. This is ones own perception which make them feel young or old.

  • Women may be old with twenty years if she so feels. Also, women can be young in sixth decade of her life. It is important to be positive and we will always young.
  • You are not old dear people thinks you are i think you are looking more gorgeous than before.Getting Older is a natural process but it comes with a grace in personality.Don't just take it on heart when any body targets you on your age .Woman's age never be revealed why you disclosed your age to anybody.You are 30 but still smart you looks gorgeous and try to feel more smarter and younger day by day.

    Getting older in age and in looks is not a problem. It is what you achieved as you get older that counts.
